Three things a customer should ask their Pressure Washing, Soft Washing or Drain Cleaning Company in Gainesville Fl. - or anywhere for that matter :)
As I drive around town or visit with customers I often see (or I'm told about) some really bad examples of Pressure Washing , Soft washing or Drain Cleaning. Like most people my first knee jerk reaction is to find those responsible and read them the "riot act". Normally this feeling fades quickly as I try to help customers find a solution to their problem. Unfortunately the damage has been done and the customer either has to chase down the offending worker and/or deal with insurance agents. If they are lucky enough they get it fixed or get reimbursed. Sometimes they wind up having to pay another company to fix it. That's just not right.
Having a business License and insurance is good but what customers usually fail to ask is three simple things. I made a video to show you what I am talking about. It is not to bash competitors, it is to help customers ask the right questions and to give service companies something to think about.
Enjoy the video.

In this video we show an example of a house, that we did an exterior wash on, that has heavily oxidized aluminum siding. Many of our customers have been told that they can't get their aluminum siding cleaned, that it is not possible, or that the contractor does not clean aluminum. Most aluminum siding can be cleaned if it is done properly and the contractor takes his time. At the end of this video there is a link to another video, where we turned the customer down and told her "NO we cant clean this". Sometimes if we feel you are wasting your money, or you are wanting something cleaned that will make your home look worse, then we explain why you should not have the work done.
We try our best to listen to the customer to determine their needs and If we cant meet those needs, it is simply better to not do the work or refer them to another company if we are not capable of fulfilling those needs. In this video the aluminum siding had a lot of algae mildew and other unsightly areas which we were happy to remove. We also explained that if the customer wanted to restore the finish of the aluminum siding then that would require stripping off all the oxidized paint and then have a painting contractor come in and prime/paint the home. In the areas that she asked if the rust could be removed, we strongly suggested that she not have this done because the painted surfaces were to fragile, and doing so would probably remove even more paint.
Doing what is best for the customer is what we strive for on each and every job, even if that means we just have to say no :)

We were cleaning and removing rust from walkways, sidewalks, steps and concrete in Gainesville, FL the other day. I thought I would show you how these sidewalk and steps came out. The paver's, or rather concrete and stone walkway, had a mixture of algae , fungus and rust on them. When ever you have mold or mildew on walkways or sidewalks, they pose a very serious hazard from slips and falls. Because pressure washing alone would not get them clean we used several methods to remove the rust and mold from the pavement.
